Services

We provide residential and commercial home improvement services, including handyman work, repairs, installations, drywall repair, tile installation, light carpentry, basic plumbing, basic electrical installation, bathroom remodeling, kitchen remodeling, home remodeling, TV mounting, media walls, wall units, floating shelves, and related property maintenance services.

Some services may require additional evaluation before we can confirm pricing, timeline, materials, access requirements, or availability.

We do not provide every type of construction, engineering, electrical, plumbing, structural, appliance repair, or specialty trade service. Work that requires permits, engineering, licensed specialty trades, inspections, or services outside our scope may be declined, paused, modified, or referred to another professional.

Estimates and Quotes

Estimates may be provided virtually using photos, videos, descriptions, text messages, emails, calls, or other information provided by the customer. For larger or more detailed projects, an in person visit or video call may be required.

An estimate is based on the information available at the time it is prepared. Final pricing may change if the project scope changes, if hidden conditions are found, if the customer requests additional work, if measurements are different, if materials change, if job site access is limited, or if site conditions are different from what was originally provided.

A quote or estimate does not reserve a project date until the customer approves the work and any required deposit or written confirmation is completed.

Any timeline, start date, completion date, or duration estimate is provided in good faith and may change due to weather, material availability, customer availability, labor availability, job complexity, prior job delays, inspections, hidden conditions, or circumstances outside our reasonable control.

Approval of Work

Work is considered approved when the customer confirms acceptance by written message, email, signed document, payment, deposit, or other clear authorization.

The approved estimate, invoice, written messages, project notes, photos, and any agreed changes define the scope of work.

Any service, repair, installation, material, finish, design detail, or task not included in the approved scope may require additional pricing and approval.

Scheduling

Service dates and times are subject to availability. We make reasonable efforts to arrive on time and complete work within the expected timeframe.

Scheduling may be affected by weather, material delays, traffic, customer availability, previous job delays, job complexity, property access issues, or unexpected site conditions.

If a job needs to be rescheduled, we will communicate with the customer as soon as reasonably possible.

Deposits

Some projects may require a deposit before scheduling, purchasing materials, reserving labor, ordering custom items, or beginning work. Deposits may be required for remodeling projects, media walls, custom work, material purchases, or projects that require reserved labor.

Unless otherwise stated in writing, deposits may be applied toward labor, materials, planning, scheduling, ordering, preparation, administrative time, and project coordination.

Deposits may not be refundable once materials are purchased, labor is reserved, project preparation begins, custom work is ordered, or the customer cancels or delays the project after approval.

If a project is canceled or postponed by the customer, any refund of a deposit will be reviewed case by case and may be reduced by purchased materials, reserved labor, processing fees, design time, planning time, administrative work, and other costs already incurred.

Payments

Payment terms will be stated in the estimate, invoice, message, or agreement provided to the customer.

We may accept payment by cash, check, Zelle, Venmo, Cash App, card payment link, online payment, or other approved payment methods.

Online card payments may be processed securely through Stripe. Roquel Home Improvements LLC does not store full credit card numbers.

Payment is due according to the invoice or agreed terms. For small jobs, payment may be due upon completion. For larger projects, deposits, progress payments, material payments, or final balance payments may be required.

The customer is responsible for paying the full approved amount for completed work, approved materials, agreed changes, and any additional work authorized by the customer.

A project may be paused, delayed, or not scheduled if required payments are not received.

Late Payments and Unpaid Balances

Invoices must be paid according to the terms stated on the invoice or agreed in writing.

Unpaid balances may result in delayed scheduling, paused work, collection efforts, additional administrative costs, or other remedies allowed by law.

Roquel Home Improvements LLC reserves the right to withhold additional service, warranty service, or new work until the customer account is paid in full, unless otherwise required by law.

Payment Processing Fees

Card payments and online payments may involve third party processing fees. If any processing fees, convenience fees, or payment related costs apply, they will be disclosed when required by law or included in the approved pricing where applicable.

Changes to Scope

Any work not included in the original approved scope may require additional pricing and approval.

Changes may include additional repairs, upgraded materials, hidden damage, extra installation work, design changes, plumbing adjustments, electrical adjustments, wall damage, structural conditions, access issues, or customer requests made after work has started.

We will make reasonable efforts to explain additional costs before performing extra work when possible. However, urgent work needed to protect the property, stop damage, or complete a related repair may be handled according to the circumstances and communicated as soon as reasonably possible.

Materials

Materials may be supplied by Roquel Home Improvements LLC or by the customer, depending on the project.

If the customer provides materials, the customer is responsible for making sure those materials are correct, complete, compatible, undamaged, approved for the intended use, and available at the job site before work begins.

We are not responsible for defects, missing parts, incorrect sizing, incorrect color, manufacturer issues, delivery delays, warranty claims, compatibility problems, or performance issues related to customer supplied materials.

If additional materials are needed, pricing and timing may change.

Product warranties, manufacturer warranties, appliance warranties, fixture warranties, equipment warranties, and material warranties are provided by the manufacturer, retailer, or supplier, not by Roquel Home Improvements LLC, unless otherwise stated in writing.

Customer Responsibilities

The customer is responsible for providing safe and reasonable access to the work area.

The customer should remove personal items, fragile items, valuables, furniture, decorations, electronics, or obstacles from the work area before service begins when possible.

The customer is responsible for securing pets, children, tenants, guests, and other people away from the work area for safety.

The customer is responsible for obtaining approval from property owners, landlords, associations, building management, property managers, or other decision makers when required.

The customer is responsible for providing accurate information about the property, requested work, known issues, prior repairs, access restrictions, building rules, parking rules, and any conditions that may affect the work.

Permits, Associations, and Third Party Approvals

Some work may require permits, inspections, engineering, association approval, building management approval, licensed specialty trades, or third party professionals.

Unless agreed in writing, the customer is responsible for obtaining approvals required by homeowners associations, condo associations, property management, building management, landlords, or other governing parties.

If permits, inspections, engineering, licensed trades, or approvals are required, the project may require additional coordination, time, pricing, and third party involvement.

Roquel Home Improvements LLC may decline, pause, modify, or refer work that requires services outside our scope.

Existing Conditions and Hidden Conditions

Some projects may reveal hidden damage, unsafe conditions, water damage, mold, rot, pests, poor previous work, electrical issues, plumbing issues, structural problems, uneven surfaces, framing issues, or other conditions that were not visible before work started.

If hidden conditions are discovered, additional work, materials, time, or third party services may be required. This may change the project price and timeline.

Roquel Home Improvements LLC is not responsible for pre existing conditions, hidden defects, previous improper work, code violations, building movement, water intrusion, mold, pest damage, structural issues, or damage caused by conditions outside our control.

Cancellations and Rescheduling

Customers should notify us as soon as possible if they need to cancel or reschedule a service.

Cancellations or rescheduling requests made after materials have been purchased, labor has been reserved, custom items have been ordered, or preparation has started may be subject to charges.

For larger projects, deposits may be applied to scheduling, preparation, purchased materials, custom orders, reserved labor, or administrative work and may not be fully refundable.

Repeated cancellations, delays, lack of access, or failure to respond may result in project rescheduling, revised pricing, or cancellation of the project.

Refunds

Refund requests are reviewed case by case.

Approved refunds may depend on the amount of work completed, materials purchased, labor already performed, project preparation, payment processing fees, custom orders, administrative work, and the terms agreed for the project.

Completed labor, installed materials, custom work, purchased materials, approved project changes, service visits, diagnostic time, planning time, and work already performed may not be refundable.

If there is a concern with the work performed, the customer should contact us promptly so we can review the issue and determine whether correction, repair, adjustment, or another resolution is appropriate.

Workmanship Warranty

Roquel Home Improvements LLC provides a one year workmanship warranty for eligible work performed by our team, subject to the warranty terms published at: https://palmbeachflhandyman.com/warranty/

The warranty applies to our completed scope of work. If a reported concern is inspected during the warranty period and the issue is confirmed to have been caused by our installation or workmanship, we will repair or reperform the affected work at no cost.

Warranty service is available once the customer account has been paid in full.

The warranty does not cover normal wear and tear, misuse, accidental damage, neglect, improper care, lack of maintenance, customer supplied materials, product defects, manufacturer defects, pre existing conditions, concealed conditions, structural movement, water intrusion, pests, mold, weather events, power surges, utility problems, work outside our scope, or changes made by the customer or another service provider.

The warranty may not apply if the customer or another contractor modifies, removes, repairs, replaces, or alters the completed work before giving us a reasonable opportunity to inspect it, except in an emergency needed to prevent immediate damage.

The warranty page in effect when the written estimate or agreement is accepted applies to the project.

Photos and Project Documentation

We may take photos or videos before, during, and after the project for documentation, estimates, invoices, quality control, internal records, customer communication, and warranty review.

We may also use project photos or videos for portfolio, website, social media, advertising, or marketing purposes, unless the customer requests otherwise in writing.

We do not intentionally publish private personal information, addresses, payment information, or sensitive customer information.

Customer Supplied Design Ideas and References

Customers may provide inspiration photos, drawings, product links, colors, measurements, or design references.

Design references are used for general guidance only unless exact products, dimensions, finishes, layouts, and scope are confirmed in writing.

Final results may vary based on room conditions, material availability, product dimensions, building conditions, lighting, layout, measurements, installation requirements, and other practical factors.

Appliances, Fixtures, Electronics, and Equipment

For customer supplied appliances, fixtures, electronics, furniture, lighting, faucets, toilets, vanities, doors, hardware, TV mounts, fireplaces, smart devices, or similar products, the customer is responsible for confirming that the product is correct, complete, compatible, and suitable for installation.

We are not responsible for manufacturer defects, missing parts, damage inside sealed packaging, product failure, remote control issues, software issues, appliance performance, electronic defects, or warranty claims related to products we did not manufacture or sell.

Unless agreed in writing, replacement products and labor to remove or reinstall a defective product are not included.

Damage and Limitations During Work

We take reasonable care to protect the work area. However, some work may involve normal and expected impacts such as dust, noise, vibration, minor wall opening, paint touch ups, drywall repair, trim adjustment, tile cuts, access holes, or other related work needed to complete the service.

Unless specifically included in the approved scope, painting, patching, finish matching, texture matching, cleaning beyond normal job cleanup, or restoration of surrounding areas may not be included.

Color, texture, grout, caulk, paint, tile, wood, stone, and finish matching cannot be guaranteed unless exact matching materials are available and confirmed.

Limitation of Liability

Roquel Home Improvements LLC will make reasonable efforts to provide professional, clean, and reliable service.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, our liability is limited to the amount paid for the specific service giving rise to the claim.

We are not responsible for indirect, incidental, special, punitive, or consequential damages, loss of use, loss of income, loss of rental income, delays, inconvenience, emotional distress, or issues caused by third parties, customer supplied materials, existing property conditions, hidden conditions, manufacturer defects, weather, utility problems, or events outside our reasonable control.

No Guarantee of Results Outside Our Scope

We only guarantee eligible workmanship within the approved scope and warranty terms.

We do not guarantee the performance, life span, compatibility, code compliance, or condition of existing systems, existing structures, existing plumbing, existing electrical, existing framing, customer supplied materials, appliances, electronics, fixtures, or work performed by others.

Disputes and Chargebacks

If the customer has a concern about a payment, invoice, service, or completed work, the customer agrees to contact Roquel Home Improvements LLC first and allow a reasonable opportunity to review and resolve the issue.

Filing a payment dispute or chargeback without first contacting us may delay resolution and may require us to provide project records, invoices, communications, photos, approvals, and proof of completed work to the payment processor.

Communication

Customers may contact us by phone, email, text message, or other approved communication channels.

Important project decisions, approvals, scope changes, material selections, design changes, schedule changes, and payment terms should be confirmed in writing when possible.

The customer is responsible for reviewing estimates, invoices, messages, and project details before approving work or making payment.

Privacy

Customer information is used to communicate, provide estimates, schedule services, process payments, complete projects, maintain records, and provide customer support.

Payment information submitted through Stripe or another payment processor is handled by that payment processor according to its own security and privacy practices.

Governing Law

These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of the State of Florida.

Updates to These Terms

We may update these Terms and Conditions from time to time. The version published on this page at the time the customer approves an estimate, schedules a service, or makes a payment will generally apply, unless a different written agreement applies.
